“Baba”, derived from “babushka”, is Russian for grandmother, as spoken by children. Grandmothers are typically referred to in unique and special ways all over the world, whether you call them nana, grandma, granny, grammy, nonna, nanny, oma, gran, gram or baba, just to name a few. Grandmothers typically hold an important place in our lives stemming from childhood. They provide us with a special kind of love we can’t get anywhere else.
