Join us for a hands-on cooking class where we’ll celebrate the best of what’s fresh from the Farmer's Market! You’ll learn to create a vibrant, seasonal veggie-centric menu using locally sourced ingredients.

We’ll begin by preparing a Southern classic—Fresh Corn Maque Choux, a delicious combination of sweet corn, peppers, and onions. Then, we’ll move on to making Bread and Butter Pickles, where you'll learn the art of quick-pickling and even take home your own jar of tangy-sweet goodness.

Next, we’ll bring a taste of the Mediterranean with Greek Green Beans (Fasolakia), simmered slowly in olive oil, tomatoes, and fragrant herbs. To cool things down, we'll prepare a refreshing Lithuanian Cold Beet Soup (Šaltibarščiai), a vibrant dish that's perfect for a warm summer day. Finally, we’ll finish with a Middle Eastern favorite, Lebanese Stuffed Zucchini (Kousa Mahshi), where tender zucchini is stuffed with rice, herbs, and spices, and simmered in a rich tomato sauce.

Each dish highlights the best of what’s in season and gives you the skills to recreate these flavors at home. Whether you're a seasoned cook or just starting out, this class is perfect for anyone passionate about fresh, vegetarian cooking and supporting local farmers.
