Olga taught the principles behind fermentation and how it affects our body and makes cabbage into a super food through fermentation. We had a blast, took home a jar of kraut and kimchi. She also offered a great deal for the store items for the attendees. We will definitely attend others classes.
I have taken 3 of Olga's cooking classes so far and have learned so much! Olga is a wonderful teacher and chef!! I can't wait to take another class!

We had the best time and learned so much at this cooking class! Olga talked us expertly through the entire process, told us the importance of each step and fermented foods in general, and we enjoyed sipping on kombucha throughout the entire class!
If your New Year’s resolution was to limit carbs, throw that resolution out the window and sign up for Olga’s homemade pasta class next time she has it. When a group of friends and I attended the make your own pasta event, some of us were experienced cooks, and others rarely open their own pantry. But all of us had successful take away lessons kitchen tips that we will use in the future. And all of us are now addicted to homemade pasta. It was an evening of camaraderie and unification and enjoying people you’ve never met. Olga is hilarious and knowledgeable and engaging and fun. I would highly recommend any of her classes to both wanna be chefs and experienced culinary connoisseurs.
Really enjoyed the kimchi and sauerkraut making class with Olga! Educational and fun. Calme home and tried what we made. Would encourage you to take a class with her if you can.
Olga is a hoot! She has a great personality, engages the group, educates about where the food comes from, what tools to use and entices a non cook to want to cook!
We will be back and bring more friends!
As a person who doesn’t cook ( cause it’s work, not fun and nothing i make tastes good), I was blown away by how much i loved Olga’s pasta making class. Her fabulous personality, humor, simplified steps, explanations and shared meal at the end, made for a magically interesting and fun experience! I wanna go back and learn more!! Olga made the experience enjoyable, easy and our creations were out of this world!
We had a fantastic experience at the Beaver Full Moon Dinner; what a feast! The food was fantastic, the community was welcoming and social, and the full moon ceremony was special. I can’t wait for the 2025 calendar to be released, as we definitely plan on going to more of these, and trying classes, too! Olga, you’ve created something unique and outstanding at Baba’s!

The gratitude rituals lead by Amy elevate the evening into a memorable one. You have to experience the New Moon Feast to understand how special it is.
I have been to Full Moon Feasts, and several cooking classes. Olga outdoes herself every time! The feasts are delicious, made with love and thought. The classes were well organized and I always walked away learning something new. Olga is truly a special soul and you won’t be disappointed by anything she has to offer!
All 3 courses were so nicely done, and delicious. I learned a lot during each course.

Olga’s bagel class was fun and interactive, and taught me a lot. Was great to meet other local people in a nice environment and will make my own bagels from now on!
I had a great time! Loved learning the origins of borscht and how to make filled dumplings. I'm a work in process for the later. Everything was well planned and orchestrated to culminate in a fun group dinner. I loved the cooking, learning, socializing and laughter!
Olga's cooking classes are great for beginners or experienced cooks! I've learned at every class and had fun, too! Time well spent! Can't wait to participate again!

This was our first ever cooking class, and it was a phenomenal experience. While making bagels and schmears and learning how to make gravlox, we got to know Olga, a knowledgeable chef/owner who provided us with history, techniques, tips about kitchen tools and ingredients, recipes and recipe variations.
No one in the class had previously made bagels, but we all gained the skills and confidence we need to make bagels and schmears on our own, and I can’t wait to use what we learned to make these at home.
Based on a 5 star rating-I’d give the class 5 stars! Can’t wait to take another class! ~ Carol and Tom
